Our journey to certification

Celebrating our 2nd year of being a certified B Corp, welcome to this year’s impact report!

Following on from our 1st impact report published July 2025, CITI’s values remain the same. We have always had our people, and our social and ethical responsibilities at our core. Not content with just having organisational policies on ESG, EDI etc., we wanted to endorse a global movement of like-minded businesses that commit to and are perpetually improving the impacts that we have on our planet, our people and our profits. So, our CEO chose B Corp, and here we are for a 2nd year running.

Our application process spanned 6 months, a number of reviews and interviews with specialist B Corp analysts. We provided documentation and evidence of business activities, processes, accreditations, and much more, providing proof of our values and how we are contributing to doing business for good.

We continue to evolve; for ourselves and our clients by enabling change in organisations through projects, programmes and change leadership.

What we said we’d do

We want to continue with the progress we are making and are starting to partner with other B Corp organisations working towards social sustainability and fairer systems. We will also be helping our client’s and fellow B Corp connections with enabling valuable and purposeful change within their organisations, growing our presence both inside and outside of the B Corp community.

What we’ve done

We reviewed all our ESG end-to-end systems and external presence, ensuring continuous alignment with our DNA; our ethos that runs through everything we do. We have invested in technology to enable us to improve how we quantify measurables including ClickDimensions. We won the Fairer Opportunities award from Cadent Gas’ Sustainability Awards in March, for the work we have done and impacts made.

What our goals are for the next 12 months

Our annual goals remain the same as the previous year: building on the progress we are making and partnering with other B Corp organisations; working towards social sustainability and fairer systems; enabling valuable and purposeful change within their organisations and continuing to grow our presence both inside and outside of the B Corp community.

What we said we’d do

To look at further supporting health and wellbeing benefits with our members, not through benefit memberships, but through individual needs assessment, so that we can continue to support our people as and when needed. To provide external coaching opportunities to the management team, as a pilot. Continue to offer relevant, timely opportunities for CPD, and career progression, to all employees based on their roles as discussed in individual performance reviews. Reflect on ourselves through 1:1 reviews, ensuring we are aligned with our team and business goals.

What we’ve done

Offered and agreed flexible working arrangements and compressed hours. Provided CPD of PFQ/PMQ within the organisation. Created a role for a Sales and Operations intern for a period of 6 months, which evolved into a full-time permanent position. Fortnight internal coaching for all employees by the CEO. Regular performance reviews and KPIs, support and guidance.

What our goals are for the next 12 months

To offer further competence and confidence mentoring to the newest members of the team on a weekly basis to further future-proof the organisation. Training the whole team on new technology that has recently been installed once set up is complete. Continue to support long standing members with CPD opportunities and career progression, and to build upon the previous year’s goals in perpetuity.

What we said we’d do

Our passion is to create environments where meaningful and valuable change can happen effectively yet there is some commercial understanding, that purpose and profits are aligned and giving back is important. Our trusted partner approach will be driving CITI forward as we work more closely with like-minded people, ensuring organisations understand that being B Corp certified is authentic to us, we are striving for meaningful change alongside our clients and partners.

What we’ve done

Pro bono mentoring programme on EDI in the workplace with testimonial (“(Kalpna’s) guidance enabled us to move beyond theory into practical application, ensuring that our initiatives are thoughtful, fair, and grounded in a genuine understanding of inclusion.” Hosted our 51st Communities of Expertise Club (CofEe) on “From problem to value.” CC51 From problem to value – CITI – Making Change Successful. Exhibited at Project Control Expo and 3 APM conference and taking part in presenting talks and workshops (Critical Thinking discussion). Celebrated our 3rd year of Gold Standard with the LPI and 10-year anniversary of accreditation. We achieved a score of 100% in Business Integrity, 95% on our Client Value Proposition and 97% in Delivery Capacity, with a great review from the LPI assessor. Our CEO has become a trustee of Cards for Bravery, a registered charity that we have been supporting for a number of years.

What our goals are for the next 12 months

Taking part in providing further pro bono speaking slots and mentoring with clients such as Parliament and the NHS. Organising a mini CofEe Club event “Espresso” on current and real-world issues. Attending the Women In Change conference and presenting more talks and workshops at various Change Leadership/Project Management conferences across the UK. Offering volunteering opportunities, enhancing the impact that we have on our community.

What we said we’d do

Creating a guideline document to share on our intranet and with neighbouring tenants in our shared facilities, on how they can contribute to reducing water usage and wastage in their offices/homes. Take part in further volunteering projects to encourage wildlife and biodiversity, either as part of The Parks Trust, or externally.

What we’ve done

We continue to offer a hybrid working policy to reduce travel and emissions to and from the office. Public transport is the main mode used when visiting clients, meetings or attending conferences, and encourage meetings via Teams. We are growing Oak saplings from acorns collected from Shenley Wood, for replanting later this year. Promotional materials at conferences are made from seeded paper, with instructions on ‘how to make your own beehive.’ We’ve presented talks on sustainability subjects including AI; facilitating ‘Exploring Impact of AI on future skills‘ panel session. We sponsored the APM Sustainability award for the 2nd year. We won the Fairer Opportunities award from Cadent Gas’ Sustainability Awards in March.

What our goals are for the next 12 months

Continue to dovetail meetings for the same day that need to be made in person in the same location, operating our purposeful travel policy. Reduce our carbon footprint by continuing to work hybrid and travelling when only necessary. Be mindful of energy and water consumption in both our shared office facilities and in our homes.

What we said we’d do

Continue to host further CofEe Clubs and sponsor awards that are important to us as an organisation and as a B Corp.

What we’ve done

Sponsored the APM Social Project of the Year award for the 6th year running, together with the APM Sustainability award. Hosted our 51st  Communities of Expertise Club (CofEe) in February 2026, bringing like-minded individuals and businesses together including our clients and provided opportunities for debating with our quest speakers. We are doing outreach work with client’s who have asked us about how to become a B Corp, using our knowledge and experience. Proven Gold Standard accreditation with the LPI for the 3rd consecutive year with high scores in content, delivery, accessibility and inclusion.

What our goals are for the next 12 months

Continuing to sponsor awards in Projects, Programmes, Portfolios and Change, and get involved in our client’s sustainability goals, workshops and awards. Building on our portfolio of learning content with current issues and new subjects, based on the real needs of our clients.
